iMed Conference 16.0

The iMed Conference ® is a scientific event organised annually by the Nova Medical School Student Association (AENMS), aimed at the national and international Life Sciences student community.
By bridging the gap between the student community and internationally renowned scientists and doctors, we aim to provide the future medical-scientific generation with the tools to polish their skills, seek knowledge and use critical thinking in the face of scientific advances.
Reaching its 16th edition from 7th to 13th October 2024, our aim is to complement the Medicine and Life Sciences curriculum with numerous learning opportunities for students. From 7th to 9th October, students can take part in over 50 workshops. From 11 to 13th October, they can attend lectures with international speakers, focusing on three main themes: “Healthcare Systems – Different views, same needs”, “Sensory spectrum – Diving Deep into the world of perception”, and “The Future of Surgery – Beyond the Scalpel”.
You can also take part in our competitions, including the Clinical Mind Competition, the Innovate Competition, the iPitch Competition, and the SIM Challenge competition.
