HOW IT WORKS

1. Application submission

Applications for the Life Science & Biotech Mentoring Program of the BioMentors Club are accepted on an ongoing basis.

2. Screening Interview

After receiving the application, the program staff schedules an interview with the project’s team (mentees) to discuss the project needs, aims and ambitions.

3. Project evaluation

The project is evaluated by the board of the BioMentors Club and a decision on enrolment in the Life Science & Biotech Mentoring Program is made.

4. Mentoring Plan

The program staff proposes a mentoring plan with milestones, that can last up to 18 months, depending on the project needs. A lead mentor is assigned, with additional mentors engaged if required.

5. Working towards milestones

After accepting the mentoring plan, the project team is ready to start the mentoring program and is able to put in action the mentoring plan. The program staff is responsible for monitoring the milestones achieved throughout time.

6. Networking

As soon as the project team is enrolled in the Life Science & Biotech Mentoring Program, they become members of the BioMentors Club and are, therefore, able to participate in the all the parallel networking activities organized.

7. Program completion & feedback

At the end of the mentoring program, feedback from both the project team and the mentor(s) is gathered by the program staff, in order to promote the continuous improvement of the Life Science & Biotech Mentoring Program.
