We are advancing a portfolio of technology-driven, cost-effective, global impact products for different cancer types, aiming at significantly improving health outcomes.
We are now looking to recruit a “Financial and Administrative Manager” to join our young and dynamic team. You’ll help keep our finances in check, manage daily admin tasks, and provide insights to help us make smart business decisions. You’ll report directly to the CEO and work with different departments:
Financial Analysis & Planning: Conducting detailed financial analyses, budgeting, forecasting, and preparing financial reports to support strategic decision-making. Provide support in due diligence processes and in preparing discussions with investors and potential M&A partners.
Controller Duties: Managing accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and overseeing month-end and year-end close processes.
Overseeing accounting and payroll: Ophiomics subcontracts accounting services from an external provider. Internally it requires verification the company’s accounting books, including payroll, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
Prepare and manage external financial audits to ensure transparency and compliance with applicable standards.
Manage administrative support: Contribute to the overall efficiency of the organization by supporting administrative processes and optimizing internal operations.
Required Skills:
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or other business-related field
- 3-5 years experience in accounting, financial analysis, or a similar role
- Expertise in financial analyses, including the ability to interpret data, generate financial reports in a timely manner
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with advanced knowledge of formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Familiarity with Power BI (preferred but not required)
- Fluency in English and Portuguese is a must.
- Goal-oriented, versatile, easy-going person with a “can do” attitude.
