DESCRIPTION:The YES – Young European Scientist – Meeting is an international scientific congress aimed at\nbiomedical students. It is organized exclusively by students from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto. Its main objectives are to contribute to the scientific training of the participants\, encourage undergraduate research and promote direct scientific contact between different nationalities and generations of doctors and researchers. \nIn this next edition\, the YES Meeting will maintain the Scientific Sessions\, with world-renowned speakers\, including Nobel Prize winners\, Lasker and Spinoza\, the well-known Scientific Competition – with the presentation of Posters and the Parallel and Plenary Sessions -\, the Clinical Competition – with the presentation of clinical cases for our participants – the Breakthrough Competition – with the presentation of original\, innovative and feasible ideas to solve a problem related to human diseases – the Speed Meeting\, a wide range of Workshops and an innovative Social and Cultural Program. \nMore information: yesmeeting.org
